Our adoption procedure starts with an application. Upon review, we contact our potential adopters for a home visit. We check personal and vet references.

Foster Application
Yorkie fosters are wanted and needed. The first step in fostering is an approved foster application. We check personal and vet references and a home visit is required.
Fostering is a temporary arrangement in which a responsible person over the age of 18 agrees to follow the guidelines, policies and procedures set forth by NC Yorkie Rescue, Inc. until a suitable permanent home is found for all Yorkies being cared for by the Foster volunteer.

Surrender Form
If you need to surrender a Yorkie for whatever reason, please contact us immediately. We can help. The process of surrendering involves calling us, and notifying us of your needs.
